Get a LAYERINSTANCE object for the model object matching the fully qualified name. If the parameter is a DOMOBJECT, this function behaves as a cast.
Parameters: layerinstance The fully qualified name of a layer instance model object, or a DOMOBJECT representing a layer instance. Returns: A LAYERINSTANCE object that represents a table model object.
