Touch input on an iMX8M
I just wanted to share an issue I encountered running Storyboard on an iMX8M with the latest NXP (Release Distro 5.4-zeus imx8mqevk bsp) BSP and how to resolve it. It seems that the Lilliput monitor (or any monitor that registers as a mouse) that I am using is registering with Wayland as a mouse instead of a touchscreen. Registering as a mouse causes us to run into the following known issue ...
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/wayland/weston/-/issues/82
Switching over to using a GeChic monitor (or any monitor that registers as a touchscreen) resolves the issue as it registers with Wayland as a touchscreen and therefore we do not encounter the Wayland mouse issue.
Take care,
-Jamie

I have been experiencing quite a similar issue with the Torizon demo image too. I still could not get a work around for it.
Jamie Villeneuve how did you get to achieve this?
Hi Lisandro,
Seems to be a calibration issue ...

Right. And it won't work using VNC or RDP access.
