Importing options from Figma

Hello,

I am new to crank and interested to see if there are options to streamline my import process from figma.

1) Is there a way to import gradient fills from Figma?
Currently, gradient fills import either as just a solid white fill, or as an image.

2) Is there a way to influence the render extension names during a Figma import?
Currently, all of my render extensions in cranked are named "Text, Text, Image, Fill, Text, etc."
Can I do anything to import the names of those layers directly to the render extension name?
I know that I can import the name as a control, but that still leaves the render extension itself unnamed, which is a challenge when importing controls with multiple render extensions.

Thank you!

  • Hi Jeremy,

unfortunately the answer to both questions is "no" at the moment. For number two, you can name only your controls but not render extension individually. We are still working on the road map of this feature, maybe some of these features will be add in the future.

    hope this helps.
    kind regards
    Max
